    First Appearance At Public Sale

Troutville, VA - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 627 The First NB Ch. # (S)9764
An excessively rare Botetourt County bank which has never appeared at public sale, indicating that all of the few known examples from here have been closely held in long term collections. We have never even seen a large example on this bank until Emmett pulled out this note. Nice Fine-Very Fine, a great note and a wonderful opportunity for the many collectors of Virginia material.
From the collection of Elvin Miller in 1984.
