    Richmond, VA - $10 1882 Value Back Fr. 577 The American NB Ch. # (S)5229
    The colors are certainly vivid and the signatures remain strong on this moderately circulated Value Back. The bank was organized on Nov. 1, 1899 and liquidated on Dec. 29, 1928. Franklin and Electricity, 1752 is seen at left while America Seizing Lightning is seen at right. The portrait on the back is William P. Fessenden. His image also appears on 25¢ Third Issue Fractional notes. The vignette is Mechanics. Comments were included by PCGS pertaining to small edge splits and staining at lower right on this example. PCGS Apparent Fine 15.
