    First Ever Public Offering

Flint Hill, VA - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 633 The First NB Ch. # 11797
An excessively rare large note from this tiny Rappahannock County community. Only two large notes (along with four small examples) are listed from here in the Kelly census, and, as is typical with the scarcest of Virginia banks, all have been closely held for years. In fact our records of almost 270,000 appearances of Nationals on fixed price lists and in auctions indicate that not one note from here, large or small, has ever been available to collectors at public sale going back sixty years. With only $450 outstanding in large notes from here, don't look for many more notes to turn up either. Pleasing Fine, a great note certain to delight its fortunate new owner.
Obtained privately from your cataloguer in 1981.
