    Rare Arizona Territory Date Back

Tucson, Arizona Territory - $20 1902 Date Back Fr. 645 The Arizona National Bank Ch. # (P)4440 PMG Very Fine 20.
To date, there are just 49 Territorial notes from all of Arizona listed in the census with about half of them being Second Charter notes or older. As a rule, Territorial notes are some of the most highly prized Nationals, no matter the Territory. The result is that auction offerings are far and few between. This example is one of just three Territorial notes recorded from this Phoenix bank. It is making its first public appearance since a 1997 auction. While it does have some staining, it still displays pleasing color, solid paper, and bold pen signatures. It is a more than acceptable example of a rare Arizona Territorial and should generate some bidding interest tonight.
