    Description

    Salem, NY - $1 1875 Fr. 385 The NB of Salem Ch. # 1127
A very scarce Washington County bank with a census population of just three pieces, all First Charters, as this bank chose to liquidate at the expiration of its charter in 1885. This is one of the three examples recorded. It is low grade, to be sure, with some repairs and tears along with a small piece or two missing, but the bank is tough enough to make this note eminently collectible. Good.
