The First National was a short-lived affair issuing just Red Seals and Date Backs until the receiver closed the doors in 1914. Prior to this evening, just one note had been listed in the census, a $20 Red Seal that has never been publicly offered. Therefore, this newly surfaced $5 Red Seal provides a great opportunity for Keystone State collectors.
