    Description

Shamokin, PA - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 633 The Market Street National Bank Ch. # 5625 PCGS Choice About New 58.
While small size notes are readily available from this Northumberland County bank, its large size counterparts are another matter entirely, with just eight pieces reported. This lovely piece is the finest of that small group and is listed in the census as Choice CU, an assertion that is understandable as this pretty note certainly appears New in its third party holder. "PCGS Choice About New 58, with bright, white paper and sharp ink colors." This was our description when we sold this same note for $1,410 in our 2014 FUN sale. The census still stands at eight large known, and this is still the finest of that select group.
