    Description

Pittsburgh, PA - $50 1902 Date Back Fr. 667 The Exchange NB Ch. # 1057
This Extremely Fine example is a new addition to the census, making a scant two $50 Date Backs known from this institution. This is the nicer of the two survivors, the other being carried in the census as a "Fine." $50 and $100 large Nationals from all locales are currently under intense collector buying pressure, and prices are moving upward strongly. With only 745 pieces of this denomination and type reported from the entire country in the latest Hickman-Huntoon-Kelly census, one can readily understand why. The officers' stamped signatures remain especially strong. Be prepared to enter a liberal bid or leave with this prize esconsed in the collection of another.
