    Pittsburgh, PA - $20 1875 Fr. 432 The Duquesne NB Ch. # 2278
We have long believed that price levels for $20 First Charters were far lower than their scarcity would dictate, and in recent months the market has agreed, with auction offerings realizing prices forty to sixty percent in advance of Green Sheet levels. In a rational world, the powers that be who publish the Green Sheet would adjust the numbers printed there to reflect these recent realizations, but that has not been the case, as printed prices have barely budged despite repeated sales of FCP twenties at substantially higher numbers. Expect prices to really take off when the dullards who produce this purported price advisory wake up to reality and adjust their numbers to reflect real world rather than illusory transactions. Nice Fine-Very Fine, with a neat vanity signature of the Cashier.
