    Unique Pittsburg Red Seal

Pittsburg, PA - $20 1902 Red Seal Fr. 639 The American NB Ch. # (E)7581
An excessively rare note that represents a bank that was a very short-lived institution that opened in 1905 and liquidated in 1908 after issuing only a small amount of Red Seals. To date, this offering is the only piece that has ever publicly appeared on this bank. Another $20 without a serial number or grade is also listed in the census which is most likely this note. PCGS has noted some restorations on this specimen but any repairs have only enhanced the note's overall pleasing appearance which includes a bold red overprint and dark printed signatures. PCGS Fine 15, a great Pennsylvania National employing no "H" in the city name.
