One of Two Known - First Offering Since 2006

New Brighton, PA - $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 467 The National Bank of New Brighton Ch. # 3259 PMG Choice Very Fine 35 EPQ.
An excessively rare note that we last handled in our sale of the Armand Shank collection in 1998, it is one of just two pieces recorded from this New Brighton bank that issued Second Charters only before liquidating in 1904. It is the only one of the pair of known notes to have ever made a public appearance. Fortunately, it is the finer of the pair and displays great color, original surfaces, and an attractive bank title layout. It is a great note for the Pennsylvania and $5 Brown Back specialist.
