    Description

Nescopeck, PA - $5 1929 Ty. 1 The Nescopeck NB Ch. # 12159 Very Fine.
Although it opened its doors in 1922, this Luzerne County bank elected to issue only small size notes. To date, just nine pieces are listed in the census including this evenly circulated and original $5. It is the first specimen we have been able to offer from this tough bank since 2005 and, as a bonus, it sports a nice round serial number of 300.
