    Description

Lancaster, PA - $10 1882 Date Back Fr. 545 The Fulton NB Ch. # (E)2634
A lovely early note from this sought after Lancaster County location and only the second $10 Second Charter Date Back to be reported. It has wide, balanced margins, great color and, as a bonus, the signature of bank vice-president Jacob Hershey. Mr. Hershey and his brothers were the founders of the Hershey Creamery Company which produced Hershey's Ice Cream. His firm was one of the first companies to offer ice cream to the public in pre-packaged pints. PCGS Very Fine 30, and sure to be of interest to not only Lancaster County banknote enthusiasts but also aficionados of Pennsylvania history.
