    Description

Ellsworth, PA - $5 1902 Red Seal Fr. 587 NB of Ellsworth Ch. # (E)6929
A simply beautiful Red Seal which has it all. It's pen signed by Howard H. Coy and James W. Ellsworth and comes from a bank with only $740 outstanding in large notes in 1935. In addition, it also comes with one of the most unusual title layouts we've seen on any Red Seal. Choice Crisp Uncirculated, a note which we sold to our consignor back in our January, 1994 sale and has been off the market since. It certainly will not lack for bidders this evening.
