    Description

Dallas, PA - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 625 The First NB Ch. # 8164
W.B. Jeter and George R. Wright's stamped signatures are seen on this bright and attractive piece. The misplaced Dallas title makes this a popular piece that, according to Track & Price, is the first large size example to be offered since 1988. While the census lists three large size notes known, we can make an argument that this note may be unique due to census taking errors. One of the pieces bears the same serial number as the piece offered here tonight but a different plate letter. The other piece is a couple numbers off and may also be an error as there is no grade listed. PMG Very Fine 25.
