    Description

    First Ever Public Offering

    Cecil, PA - $10 1929 Ty. 2 First NB Ch. # 14094
An extremely rare 14000 charter example from a western Pennsylvania bank which issued just pocket change during its less than one year of circulation. There are two number one sheets known from here, both of which have never been offered publicly, and just two single notes in the census, both of which have long been ensconced in major collections and both of which have also never appeared at public sale. This example, which is new to the census, represents the only opportunity collectors have had in more than six decades to add a note from this obscure 14000 charter issuer to their holdings. Fine.
