    Description

Brockwayville, PA - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 633 The First NB Ch. #(E) 5497
An otherwise Fine note, but with a bit of upper margin roughness, from this challenging Jefferson County locale. This institution issued under two titles, with all of its large size bearing this, the first nomenclature.. When it closed its doors in 1931, leaving the community without a federally chartered institution, a scant $2,630 remained in circulation of its large notes. The Kelly census documents only eight large survivors. Our estimate may well prove conservative tonight.
