Discovery Note on the FNB of Idabel

Idabel, OK - $10 1902 Date Back Fr. 618 The First NB Ch. # (W)8486
The very first note to come into the limelight from this McCurtain County bank in the southeastern corner of the state. This institution was originally chartered during territorial days and was shuttered on February 18, 1925 due to incompetent management. The 1920s further saw Idabel's population drop from 3617 in 1920 to 2581 in 1930. This $10 with dark penned signatures of the assistant cashier and president grades PMG Fine 12 and does not have any distractions listed on the third party label. A note fit for a first-class collection, so one must bid accordingly.
