    When we sold this note back in 2008 we commented, "This high grade Elko note is the only $10 Type 2 reported to date, and one of just two Type 2 notes of any denomination extant from here. Luckily for collectors, it is a high grade example worthy of a place in the finest of collections." Seven years later, it still is the sole Type 2 $10 known from Elko, and is still one of only two Type 2s of any denomination reported to date. The last small size Elko note to cross the auction block was a Very Fine 25 $20 Type 1 which fetched $7050 two years ago.
