    Description

Broken Bow, NE - $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 469 The First NB Ch. # 3449
This $5 Brown Back combines a great town name, a neat layout, and bold pen signatures. This bank issued $5 Brown Backs only before closing in 1899, and it had just $795 outstanding in 1910. This small community was home to four issuing banks, two of which remain unknown, with notes from the other two offered in this sale. PCGS Very Fine 20.
