Superb Gem New 68PPQ $10 Brown Back - One of Three Recorded

Saint Louis, MO - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 484 The NB of Commerce Ch. # (M)4178
An outstanding PCGS Superb Gem New 68PPQ $10 Brown Back from this prolific St. Louis issuer that has supplied many great type notes to collectors over the years. Vivid colors are noted on front and back, and the embossing, which is often obscured by the elaborate design details, remains bold and easily visible through the third party holder. The corners are sharp and deep and the hand written signatures are quite attractive. This is one of a mere six $10 Brown Backs that have been graded at the "68" level by PCGS with none finer and the only example for this Friedberg number. If you only want (and can afford) the very finest, this is a note you should bring home tonight.
