    Description

One of Three Known Winona Deposit National Bank Notes

Winona, MN - $1 Original Fr. 382 The Winona Deposit National Bank Ch. # 1782 PMG Very Good 10.
Winona's first three banks were very short-lived, with this bank, the third founded, operating from only from 1871 to 1877. Accordingly, it was a First Charter-only bank. Only three notes are currently reported from this institution, and we have been privileged to offer all three notes within the past five years. This evenly circulated and problem free note is one of the trio. It last appeared in our 2017 FUN auction where it realized a five-figure price. This is a great ace from a popular part of the state that will please its fortunate new owner.
