    Description

    First Public Small Size Offering

Stewartville, MN - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The First National Bank Ch. # 5330 PMG Very Fine 25.
A great new entrant to the census for this downright rare Olmsted County bank. The first of two note issuers in this southern Minnesota community, this bank failed in 1931 and, prior to this offering, just four small size (and four large) had been reported. However, most of the 1929 Series examples must be in either strong hands or institutional collections as none have ever been offered at public sale. We are now pleased to offer this evenly circulated $10 which is newly reported. It provides a great opportunity for one lucky Minnesota collector to finally add this charter to their holdings.
