Stunning Iona Red Seal
Iona, MN - $10 1902 Red Seal Fr. 613 The First NB Ch. # (M)7128This note is easily the best note known from this one bank town. While it likely is equal in grade to a Blue Seal from the same bank that we offered in 2009, it is a Red Seal, and a beautiful one at that. When it was offered as part of the Melamed holdings in 2010, it realized more than $10,000. The penned signatures are stunning, and the cherry red overprint is perfect against the snow white paper. PMG Extremely Fine 40.
