Saint Clair Shores, MI - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 609 The First NB Ch. # 12661
A very rare note from the sole issuer in Saint Clair Shores, where fives were the only denomination emitted. As the bank entered receivership in early 1931, it is not surprising that only four large size (and three small) have been documented from here. Tonight's offering is a welcome new addition and, although well circulated with some edge tears and rust stains, it maintains a pleasing appearance for its assigned grade of PCGS Very Good 10.
