    An occupational bank title adorns this Fine $10 from Androscoggin County. The Auburn-Lewiston Shoe Strike involved 4000 to 5000 workers from March 25 to June 19, 1937. Police and workers fought on April 21. Governor Lewis Barrows had to call out the Maine Army National Guard to restore order.
