    A wonderful new discovery from a prohibitively rare Tennessee bank which issued First Charter Originals only before liquidating in 1872. By 1910, a miniscule $591 was outstanding. Only one note is listed in the census, with that piece, which grades "Fair," never having been available to collectors at public sale. This ace has a few minor repairs, including a rebuilt corner, but is actually quite decent in appearance and easily merits its PCGS assigned grade of Apparent Fine 12. Any estimate here is simply a surmise, but our best guess considering the demand for truly rare Tennessee notes is...
