    Owensboro, KY - $50 1902 Plain Back Fr. 684 First NB & TC Ch. # 2576
    A great new discovery that is only the second large note to be reported bearing this Owensboro bank's heretofore unique second title. This Daviess County bank added the Trust designation to its title in 1927 and, prior to this evening, just one note was known with that new title. That single note is a serial number 1 $100 that was part of the massive Albert Grinnell collection and which has not been seen since its dispersal in 1945. Needless to say, this $50 Plain Back presents a great opportunity for today's generation of collectors. It is an evenly circulated PMG Very Fine 25 with nice color for the grade.
