A Second Uncut First Charter Sheet

Louisville, KY - $1-$1-$1-$2 Original Fr. 382/389 The German NB Ch. # 2062 Uncut Sheet
This is the second of two uncut First Charter sheets in the Gale holdings, representing two thirds of the Kentucky First Charter uncut sheets known to exist. This sheet is more typical of the breed than the incredible Flemingsburg sheet, with a few defects evident, including a small notch between the top two notes on the left side, a few minor repairs, and some splits at the folds between and through each note. Still, this is an extremely rare item, with just two Original Series sheets recorded from the state, and one which is certain to see considerable interest before the hammer falls tonight. Extremely Fine.
