DescriptionHarrodsburg, KY - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 484 The First NB Ch. # (S)1807
This Mercer County bank is one of three in Harrodsburg and is certainly the scarcest. This broadly margined note was hand cut and left little margin for the second note on this sheet. Moderate and even wear does not interrupt the vivid color on this PCGS Graded Very Fine 25 Brown Back leaving the state seal clearly legible. Seven notes, all large, are known on this bank all Series 1902 save for this note. Had this note appeared on the market earlier, it would have certainly been a part of the Bill Gale Collection.
Estimate: $2,250 - $2,750.
