    From an excessively rare Ithaca bank that issued only $5 Brown Backs for thirteen years before failing in 1896, this pretty note is one of just two survivors documented from this charter. It is as attractive as it is rare with great color and a most appealing bank title layout. In its one auction appearance, this PCGS Very Fine 20 specimen brought over $8,000 at the peak of the market in 2008.
