    Ottumwa, IA - $50 1929 Ty. 1 The Iowa NB Ch. # 1726
There are only five serial numbers in the Kelly data for this bank that only issued Type One $50s and $100s. Four of the known notes are $50s, with this one and two other notes being from sheet 87. Iowa is a heavily collected state, and bidders on this note should stretch to add such an important note to their collections. This example was stored folded in half, leaving a hard center fold. However, it is still desirable and should appeal to many. The officers who liquidated this bank in 1931 were C.P. Rauscher and Cyrus K. Blake. Fine.
