Rare and Desirable Lost Nation, Iowa Note

    Lost Nation, IA - $20 1929 Ty. 1 The First NB Ch. # 5402
A rare Iowa small note bearing one of the greatest titles in Nationals, with this small community of fewer than 500 people taking its name from the removal of the Ioway Indian tribe during the 1830s, the so-called "Lost Nation." Just eight Series 1929 examples are known, with this piece likely the very best of the group. PMG Very Fine 30, an attractive piece from a bank which has not been offered at public sale since 2005.
