    Eudora, AR - $5 1929 Ty. 1 The First NB Ch. # 12813
Although this bank received its charter in 1925, it chose to issue no large notes. By the time it elected to circulate series 1929 examples, its time was already limited, and by the middle of 1931 the bank was history. Only about $50,000 in face value was sent to the bank, with just three survivors listed in the new census. We've seen two of the three, with both displaying the dreadful trim seen here. Unfortunately for collectors, this was the sole bank in town, and there have been no offerings from here other than these two ill-trimmed examples for at least the past decade. Very Good.
