    Unique Dillwyn, Virginia Example

Dillwyn, VA - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 606 The First NB Ch. # 11480
One of the crown jewels of the Brooks collection, as it was in the Miller collection before Emmett was fortunate enough to acquire it. This note is unique for the town, which which was the only community with an issuing bank in rural Buckingham County. Few items in Nationals stay unique forever, but this piece has met the test of time and emerged a winner. Nice Fine-Very Fine, a trophy item impossible to estimate with any accuracy in this rarity dominated market, but our best guess is...
Obtained from Elvin Miller in 1984.
