Large Size $50-50-50-100 Sheet-One of Two Known

Pueblo, CO - $50-50-50-100 1902 Plain Backs Fr. 678/701 The First NB Ch. # 1833 Uncut Sheet
This magnificent sheet made its appearance many years ago and then disappeared, leading to reports it had been cut. We are pleased to report that it is indeed fully intact, and just as beautiful as the day it left the Bureau bound for the bank in Pueblo. The Kelly census now contains over 2000 different uncut sheets of Nationals. Of that number just two Third Charter $50/100 sheets have survived; this example and one other from Detroit. Even the amazing Grinnell collection lacked any $50/100 blue seal sheets. This sheet is amazingly well preserved as well, with no folds, handling or other impairments, leaving each note a crackling fresh, pen signed gem. Whether you collect Colorado Nationals, uncut sheets, or just great rarities of all kinds, this sheet will certainly become an irreplaceable highlight of the collection it now enters. Any estimate is by definition a mere speculation, given this sheet's rarity and desirability, but we will note that by other collectible, or even numismatic standards established in other fields, items such as this remain appallingly inexpensive. After all, when the hammer falls here tonight, all the money in the world would likely fail to buy another example equivalent to this Gem Crisp Uncirculated sheet. Est. 60,000-90,000
