Rare and Lovely Boston Lazy Deuce

Boston, MA - $2 Original Fr. 389 The Central NB Ch. # 2103 PCGS Choice About New 55PPQ.
A lovely, high grade Lazy Deuce from this very scarce Boston bank that issued First and Second Charter notes only before failing in 1902. To date, just ten pieces are reported from here, only one of which has been publicly offered since 2006. This bright and original note, which appears new in its third party holder, made its last auction appearance in a 1977 Kagins sale and is now finally available for a new generation of collectors to enjoy. A true Boston rarity fit for the finest of collections.
