Nogales, Territory of Arizona - Bank Charter The Sandoval NB Ch. # 6591Very few bank charters from the large size era have survived for the collectors of the Twenty-first Century to enjoy. From Arizona, only 27 Charters issued notes in the National Banking System making charters like these extremely scarce. This is a lovely and bright thrice-folded example. Charter number 6591 is found at bottom center and we learn that the exact date of incorporation was January 24, 1903. Trappings of federal authority that are found on this highly collectible bank charter include an American eagle at the ready, four pairs of fasces, and a gold-colored Comptroller of the Treasury Department seal. Dimensions are approximately 8 by 13.5 inches and this item is ready for framing and hanging in the collector's den or study. Overall, a great auxiliary item for the serious Arizona collector.
