Apalachicola, FL - $5 1902 Red Seal Fr. 587 The First NB Ch. # (S)6274Red Seals and Date Backs only from this rare Florida panhandle bank, with the Date Backs so far having eluded collectors completely. The census shows just four notes, all Red Seals, with Track & Price showing one offering in the 1980's, one in the 1990's, and one in the 2000's, the last coming when we sold a Very Good 10 $20 note for $23,000 in 2008. As this bank issued only from 1902 through 1911, the census is unlikely to change, perhaps suggesting that the appearance of this note marks the offering for the 2010's. PCGS Fine 12, actually the finest of the four examples known.
