A wonderful grouping of these popular tickets. The Caxton Co. of Chicago bought all of the unused admission tickets after the exposition closed and then sold them as souvenirs in their own envelopes. These envelopes are seldom encountered in any state of preservation as they were often considered as a "throw away" at the time. This lot has two examples each of the scarcer Franklin and Handel tickets with one of the former weighing in at Superb Gem New 67PPQ. This lot contains two sets of what the Caxton Co. considered as "complete."
Estimate: $2,000 - $2,500.
