The Story of the American Bank Note Company. This is the classic reference on the ABNCo written by William H. Griffiths. It covers the time period from 1795 - 1958 within its 92 pages. Many engraved portraits and vignettes are included. What is most helpful to the Obsolete collector is the "family tree" depicting the historical evolution of the ABNCo. Glued inside the front cover is a copy of a book review that appeared in the September 1959 Numismatist. The rare ABNCo announcement card for this book is also tipped in. It has the added inscription, "Commemorating our Siderographers dinner in Washington!"
