DescriptionThe New-Yorker Newspaper Saturday April 23, 1836 with Alamo Reference.
This is a 16-page newspaper that has been removed from a binding. The first page is missing a corner. There is a report via the The Natchez Courier concerning the fall of the Alamo. The Alamo has fallen, and every unfortunate creature murdered and burnt, some even before they were dead... There is also a report from Florida concerning General Scott and the Creek Indians. Revolutionary War anecdotes and a brief mention of the Aurora Borealis are also noticed. Numerous poems are published within these pages as well. This is a very interesting piece of history. There will be no returns on this lot for any reason.
