DescriptionLiberty Loan Bonds Miscellany.
This lot starts off with a January 1, 1923 United States Government Thrift Card that contains one 25¢ war savings certificate thrift stamp. This thrift card is held in an envelope of the same general design as the thrift card with one Irwin Monroe Dunn of Point, Texas listed as the owner. This thrift card duo is held in turn by a Liberty Loan Bonds envelope known as a Bushnell "paperoid" flat wallet. The face of this wallet has The National Commercial Bank of Cleveland, Ohio "x'ed" out with the aid of a typewriter and in its stead "The First State Bank, Point, Texas" has been typed in.
