Late 18th Century Checks and More.
This lot starts off with several Bank of the United States and Bank of America checks from the 1790s. Then there are other bank checks throughout the 1800s, and a few up until the 1950s. Many of the checks have revenue stamps or a revenue imprint. A Reward of Merit is also noticed along with a Jefferson County, Montana Territory check, a 1907 $5 San Francisco Clearing House Certificate, a 1947 check from famed numismatist D.C. Wismer plus several other paper items including a couple of modern reproductions. There is duplication in this educational lot. There will be no returns on this lot for any reason.
Estimate: $250 - $350.
