DescriptionHeath's Infallible Counterfeit Detector Banking & Counting House Edition 1877.
Laban Heath began printing his detector in 1864, and this edition marks the twelfth time the original was revised and updated. The cover is brown with gold lettering. It is stained and faded but intact. The inside binding is tight. Eleven plates are included with the last two in color. Notably missing is the fractional currency plate as fractional had stopped being printed the year before this edition was out. The plates and inner pages all have stains and there is a notation on the inside front cover that reads "To: Daddy, From: Sonya June, 1976," but overall it is still an attractive book. This is Newman variety 12-BH-2.
