    Description

"Welcome Louisville Commandery No. 1" Wash Drawing Attributed to Thomas F. Morris, Sr.
Untitled - Double-headed Eagle on Globe Wash Drawing Signed in Pencil by an Unknown Artist.
The first piece of original art is a small-size wash and charcoal drawing on Bristol board measuring 110mm by 140mm. It is not signed. We believe that this was a Knights Templar project. Pencilled on the verso is "Thos. F. Morris Sr. 'Found in father's affects (sic).'" There is a tack hole at top center. The second piece of original art is a medium-size wash and charcoal drawing on Bristol board measuring 227mm by 127mm. A double-headed eagle with spread wings stands on top of a half-globe. A signature in pencil at left is possibly that of J.D. Hany and below is "# 55932." There is a tack hole in each of the left corners. Both of these pieces of art can be traced to the Glenn Jackson Collection, who was able to acquire items from the Thomas F. Morris Sr. estate. (Total: 2 items)
