Heath's Improved, Enlarged & Infallible Government Counterfeit Detector at Sight Second Edition Banking and Counting House Edition 1866.
In his information on these books, Newman covers the fact that Heath did not do a first edition of the Banking and Counting House Edition. This large format second edition has a dark brown cover with gold lettering and the incorrect patent date of July 2, 1867. The cover is separated on the bottom and many of the inside pages are loose, some detached but all are present. This example was published by Innes and Niles and has two pages of plates showing the microscope at the end. The Fractional currency plates are included. This is Newman variety 2-BH-3.
