    Description

    Moveable Cat in Shoe

    Early Macerated by O. Duke
This cat-in-the-shoe design is quite common. This one is particularly charming for the ease at which the cat bobs when the shoe is moved, as well as the original ribbon around its neck. It is a very early piece, roughly made, with a lot of currency visible. The label attributes it to O. Duke, whose address was 715 14th St. NW, Washington D.C. Later pieces show only the address and not the name on their labels.
