    A Bale of Money
Three pieces of thick, blank macerated measuring three inches by four inches have been folded in half and secured with baling wire. The macerated is post-1908, with no visible pieces of currency. There is a postcard-style color lithograph of the White House laid on top, also held in place by the baling wire. The lithograph has two short tears at the top. A complete, easy to read label appears on the back, identifying this as a product of Henri M. Stewart, 347 5th Avenue, New York. A much rarer piece that appears to us to date from the 1920s. Stewart produced and copyrighted the macerated point of purchase advertising piece also in this sale. It is very likely that this bale was one of the items offered for sale in conjunction with that piece.
