    Description

Series 692 $10 PMG About Uncirculated 55. This attractive MPC is from the first printing. The notes were issued on Oct. 7, 1970 and were the fourth series to be used exclusively in Vietnam. The portrait at center on the face is Chief Hollow Horn Bear of the Brule Sioux as engraved by L.S. Schofield. That engraving was also used on the 1923 14¢ postage stamp. An attractive eagle vignette is seen on the back.
